Meet Chef Mike

Mike Vassallo has been the executive chef of VinoTapa since the restaurant’s inception in 2008. VinoTapa wouldn’t be what it is today without his passion for great food and his commitment to honest hospitality.  If you’ve ever dined with us, you’ve surely met Chef Mike.

In the Fall of 2021, Mike was approached by aspiring filmmaker and SVA student, Joanna Downing, to be the subject of her student documentary.
